Jump Into My Arms

(2014)

A devoted, lounge-act duo create beautiful melodies together, but their happiness on-stage belies a darker reality behind the curtain. Through the turmoil, the power of their music keeps them united. "Jump Into My Arms" is a live-action short-film by writer/director Rex Carter, featuring an original song by Dominic Castillo.

About the Song in the Film:

The lyrics were written by me, Rex Carter, emulating the style and banter of a Louis Prima / Keeley Smith duet, straight out of Vegas in the '50s/'60s.

Then, I was fortunate to meet Dominic Castillo, a velvet-voiced crooner and composer that gave life to the song with a classic arrangement and his considerable vocal talents (joined by Inga Swearingen).
